Trainee Recruitment Consultant

Rev and Regs, is a dynamic and well-respected recruitment agency that provides top- tier talent to the entire Financial Services, Banking & Investments and Insurance sectors, within the areas of Revenue & Regulation (Front Office, Risk Management, Compliance, Audit, Financial Crime and Legal).

Due to our market position and continued success, we are looking to grow our team of specialist Recruitment Consultants.

As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you will help to attract and recruit top tier talent for Permanent and Contract hires, across a range of specialisms. You will manage the process from end to end as a 360 Consultant. We will provide you with extensive training in our academy, where you will learn everything, you need to become a great recruiter.

Responsibilities:

• Developing business relationships with new clients over the phone and on client visits.
• Resourcing and interviewing new candidates.
• Liaising between clients and candidates.
• Maintaining working relationships with existing clients and spotting opportunities for further business.
• Advertising vacancies and searching job boards.

Experience required:

• A minimum of 12 months experience in recruitment, sales, business development or a related area.
• A strong desire to break into the recruitment sector.
• An ability to think on your feet and work quickly but efficiently under pressure.
• To be good at building long standing relationships with clients and candidates to ensure that your desk moves in the right direction.
• The right mindset - honest and flexible with the determination to succeed and to enjoy working to structured goals and targets on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Emotional intelligence and the ability to communicate and connect with all different types of personalities.

• Basic salary - £20,000-£24,000 on experience.
• Uncapped commission structure - £40,000-£50,000k in year one is achievable.
