Trainee Recruitment Consultant

Pertemps is looking for a motivated Trainee Commercial Recruitment Consultant to join our Gloucester team. This is an exciting opportunity to start your career in recruitment, gain commercial insight, and develop your skills in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
Salary: £25,397– £26,397 + uncapped commission
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30–16:30 & 08:30–17:30
Location: Elmbridge Court, Gloucester

As a Trainee Commercial Recruitment Consultant at Pertemps, you’ll work with a variety of commercial clients, developing relationships, matching candidates to roles, and contributing to the growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates across all stages of recruitment
Match candidates to commercial roles, ensuring satisfaction for both clients and candidates
Support payroll, compliance, and pre-employment checks accurately
Identify new business opportunities and support service delivery
Contribute to achieving branch and individual targets through proactive serviceTo be successful:

Positive, proactive, and enthusiastic attitude
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Experience in a customer-facing or sales role
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
Knowledge of employee rights, equality, diversity, and inclusion is a plus
