Job Description - Trainee Service Charge Accountant

A brilliant opportunity for a Trainee Service Charge Accountant candidate with AAT or equivalent qualification.

As a trainee Service Charge Accountant, you will assist with the preparation of Client Service Charge Accounts, query resolution, preparing accounting data for external accountants, and analysing handover information

This role would be perfectly suited for individuals with well-rounded Accounts knowledge with previous experience working in a Finance team.

Summary & Benefits:

Trainee Service Charge Accountant
Harlow – Hybrid (up to 3 days from home)
Permanent & Full-Time
Monday – Friday, 37 hours per week
£24,000 - £27,000 per annum

Key Duties:

Reviewing and processing movements of expenditures between Cost Centres.
Reviewing and processing prepayments and accruals at Service Charge Year End Reconciliation.
Auditing income for the year ensuring leaseholders have been charged correctly.
Preparing service charge calculations including balance sheet reconciliation and detailed analysis of P&L accounts.

About You:

AAT or equivalent qualification.
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
Good all round Accounts knowledge from a previous role.
