Are you a Trainee Service Technician with a background in vehicles or similar, looking for an exciting role where you will be given in depth training on groundcare equipment and excellent progression opportunities up to ground care manager?

On offer is the chance to join a rapidly expanding groundcare company that works within the agricultural and commercial sectors. Established over 30 years ago, they are a highly reputable company within the industry and are looking for a new Service Technician to join their team of 50 employees and help them keep expanding.

In this role you will be working both in the field and in the workshop, servicing and repairing groundcare equipment such as lawnmowers and utility vehicles. Field work is based around South Devon and would require no overnight stays, along with being provided a company van. There are also on call Saturday rotas, working out to one Saturday working every four weeks, paid at a rate of 1.5X overtime.

This position would suit a Trainee Service Technician with a background in vehicles, looking for a dynamic role that provides full groundcare training and excellent progression opportunities.

The Role:

• Servicing and repairing groundcare equipment
• 50:50 split of Fieldwork and Workshop
• Company vehicle provided for field service
• Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00 in summer, 08:00-17:30 in winter
• One Saturday on call every four weeks at rate of 1.5X overtime

The Person:

• Trainee Service Technician or similar
• Background in vehicles
• Commutable to Barnstaple
