Interocean is seeking a motivated Scots law graduate to join our in-house legal and commercial team as a trainee solicitor. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the offshore energy and marine services sector, working closely with experienced legal counsel and commercial managers.
What you’ll do
Cover core legal activities in commercial contracts, procurement, compliance, and regulatory work
Draft and review contracts, NDAs, service agreements, and internal policies
Support and observe commercial negotiations with clients, suppliers, and partners
Conduct legal research and provide advice on contract clauses and regulatory developments
Participate in cross-departmental projects (HR, Finance, Operations)
Attend business strategy meetings and gain commercial and financial awareness
Complete mandatory ethics and compliance training (including AML)
Maintain a PEAT 2 record with evidence mapped to all outcome areas
