As a Trainee Store Manager you will support the current Store Manager to lead the store to success by driving growth, maximising profitability, and creating a safe, welcoming environment for both customers and staff. You’ll deliver exceptional service every day, turning first-time customers into loyal brand ambassadors.
Main Responsibilities
Take the reins on store performance, championing growth and achieving ambitious targets. Be the face and voice of the brand — marketing storage solutions and delivering standout service that sets us apart. Keep safety front and centre, rigorously applying Health & Safety policies to protect both team and customers. Craft and deliver local Marketing Plans that hit the mark and drive footfall. Own every enquiry — track, manage and convert leads with confidence using our CMS. Lead your team to success by improving conversion rates and customer experience through live coaching and performance feedback. Stay one step ahead with competitor analysis and customer insights that keep your store on the cutting edge. Provide accurate, timely reports that keep the wider business informed and aligned. Support team growth with quarterly Personal Development Plans and inspiring annual appraisals. Build a strong team culture rooted in fairness, accountability, and excellence. Maintain high standards across the board — from store presentation to rota planning. Handle all financial transactions with integrity and precision. Keep compliance watertight by staying on top of checklists and operational procedures. Champion a safe, clean, and motivating workspace for everyone who walks through the door.
You will require a full UK driving licence for this role as you may be asked to visit other stores to support.
