Trainee Tax Accountant

A well-established chartered accountancy firm in the Cambridge area is seeking talented individuals to join their team. With a long-standing reputation for delivering high-quality accounting services, the firm works with a diverse client base, including individuals, owner-managed businesses, charities, and not-for-profit organisations.

They offer a broad range of services, from audit and assurance to taxation and management accounting, with particular expertise in supporting charities and not-for-profits. The firm prides itself on building long-term client relationships, providing tailored advice, and maintaining a supportive and professional work environment.

You will initially support with the following tasks whilst learning the industry and client portfolio:

• Support the team with a variety of tax-related tasks.
• Assist in preparing documents and reports for clients.
• Help ensure records are accurate and up to date.
• Work alongside senior staff, gaining exposure to both personal and business tax.
• Provide general support to the team and deliver a high level of client service.

• A Level school leaver with a passion and interest in Accountancy.
• Strong communication skills
• Keen to learn and develop
