Job Description - Trainee Underwriter

Role: Trainee Underwriter
Location: Southampton
Salary: £25,500 - £28,000 DOE
Hours: 37.5 hours per week. Shifts between 8am - 8pm & one Saturday short shift per month 9am-2pm

Dynamite Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting a Trainee Underwriter to join a successful, award-winning Financial Services business based in Southampton! 
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to develop and progress their career within a fast-growing, vibrant team! 

Duties of a Trainee Underwriter 
  • Experience reviewing documents and strong attention to detail preferred
  • Curious, analytical, and methodical mindset
  • Quick to learn, adaptable, and open to ongoing training
  • Positive attitude with a genuine appetite for learning and personal development
Experience needed of a Trainee Underwriter
  • Strong eye for detail
  • Good telephone skills
  • Working effectively in a fast-paced environment, being able to react well to change and have the ability to multitask
  •  Good Time management
  • Excellent organisation skills
