Due to continued business growth, we are looking for motivated and committed individuals to join our team as Trainee Vacuum Excavator Operators.

The Role
As a Trainee Vacuum Excavator Operator, you will receive comprehensive training to safely operate specialist vacuum excavation equipment across sites throughout the UK.
Your responsibilities will include:

Operating and maintaining specialist vacuum excavation equipment.
Supporting excavation, trenching and groundworks operations.
Carrying out daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance.
Following strict health and safety procedures at all times.
Working closely with site teams to deliver projects safely and efficiently.
Travelling to customer sites across the UK, including overnight stays away from home.
Maintaining high standards of professionalism, reliability and customer service.Salary Progression

Pay progression is subject to the successful completion of the relevant training and progression stages.
With regular overtime and weekend working opportunities, annual earnings of up to £80,000 may be achievable following completion of training.

A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence — essential.
A strong commitment to health, safety and following procedures.

The ability to work in challenging site environments and weather conditions.
A reliable, professional and hardworking attitude.Previous experience in construction, plant operation or equipment maintenance would be an advantage, but a willingness to learn and develop is essential.
Working Away from Home
This role involves travelling to sites throughout the UK and typically requires four nights away from home, staying in paid hotel accommodation. An overnight allowance of £37.50 is also provided for each night away.
