Job Title: Trainee Warehouse Manager

Location: Dover
Job Type: Full time/permanent (40 hours a week , Monday to Friday 07:00 -16:00 or 08:00 - 17:00 , alternates Saturday (3 hrs)
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

The role:
A fantastic opportunity to join a highly reputable and growing transport business, starting initially as a Warehouse Operative whilst you learn the role and get a real understanding of the day to day logistics and company, the role offers a clear path of progression to Warehouse Manager within 2 years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Reach Forklift to transport and stack materials safely and efficiently.
• Manage and organise warehouse stock and inventory with precision.
• Ensure timely movement and placement of stock within the facility.
• Assist in maintaining the cold store environment, adhering to safety and operational standards.
• Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and achieve operational targets.
• Contribute to a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
• Keep and maintain accurate records and databases

The role will be working 30% of the time in the cold store & 70% in the office.

Key Skills and Requirements:
Valid Reach Forklift license and proficiency in operation.
Experience with stock movement and inventory management.
Ability to work effectively in a cold store environment.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Willingness to learn and undertake training.
Problem-solving mindset and positive attitude.
