We’re looking for a Trainer to join our team in Spalding, UK.

The Trainer is responsible for delivering engaging, effective, and compliant training programs across all operational areas, with a strong emphasis on food safety, health & safety, and operational best practices. This role supports the continuous development of employees and plays a key role in embedding a culture of learning and compliance throughout a 24-hour operational environment.

Travel Requirements
Travel between our three main sites in the Spalding Area will be required. Occasional travel to our Kings Hill office as needed.

Responsibilities include:
Deliver high-quality training across all shifts, covering inductions, compliance, and skills development.
Facilitate smooth onboarding with engaging and effective induction processes for new starters.
Lead and champion the company’s training strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulations.
Ensure training programs meet high standards, industry compliance, and customer expectations.
Develop and continuously improve training content based on feedback and best practices.
Maintain accurate training records and uphold Learning Management System (LMS) data integrity.
Collaborate with managers to identify training needs and close skill and compliance gaps effectively.
Support audit readiness with thorough training documentation and promote a culture of growth and continuous development.
Essential
Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, health & safety standards (e.g., HACCP, COSHH), and manufacturing best practices.
Skilled communicator with excellent presentation, and time management abilities.
Able to adapt training styles to suit various audiences, learning levels, and dynamic environments.
Familiar with training requirements for key auditing bodies and compliance standards.
Experience working in warehouse settings with a customer-focused and detail-oriented approach.
Tech-savvy and analytical, proficient in MS Office, data analysis, and report generation

Desirable
Understanding of shift-based or 24-hour operations.
Experience with Learning Management Systems is advantageous.
Previous experience in a training or coaching role, ideally within the fresh produce, food manufacturing, Agricultural or FMCG sectors.
Training qualification (e.g., Level 3 Award in Education and Training or equivalent) is beneficial.
