Job Description - Trainer - Oliver McGowan, Learning Disability and Autism - Location

UTS are are proud to be among the selected training providers, approved to deliver the full range of Oliver McGowan training programmes, including Tier 1 webinars, Tier 2 face-to-face sessions, and Train the Trainer programmes for both tiers. We are the leading national provider of training courses and qualifications in Health, Housing and Social Care with the Skills for Care, Centre of Excellence endorsements and numerous awards to sustain out capability and credibility to skill and development our vital workforces.

Our associate positions are as "local" as we can make them, and we work with you to ensure reasonable travel expectations are met. But you will be required to be " on the road" so need you to be mobile and willing to travel about.

If you are already an Oliver McGowan approved trainer, we have an opportunity for you to add rewarding and impactful work to your portfolio. We are seeking passionate and knowledgeable trainers to join our specialist learning disability and autism team.

As a Trainer at UTS, you will get involved with:

  • Delivering high-quality learning disability and autism training to diverse customers, such as NHS Trusts, private hospitals, local authorities, and care providers.
  • Ensuring all training is compliant with legislation, best practices, and UTS policies.
  • Providing guidance and support to learners.
  • Delivering within agreed timescales to meet customer and learner needs.
  • Communicating with enthusiasm, clarity, and confidence.
  • Being an instrumental part of our training associate community.

What we are looking for:

  • Excitement and drive to deliver exceptional training and customer service, motivated by the opportunity to influence positive change.
  • Prior experience delivering training, ideally face-to-face and virtually.
  • A strong background in health and social care, with proven competencies in learning disability and autism.
  • Passion for the sector, with a desire to maintain high standards and support learners and clients in achieving exceptional results.
  • A teaching qualification (essential).
