Training and Recruitment Coordinator
Location: Harrogate Salary: Up to £33,000 Benefits: Company car, 27 days holiday + bank holidays, pension, life assurance and employee benefits Hours: Full-time, with flexible start/finish times
The Role
Ashley Kate are pleased to be supporting our client in the search for a Training and Recruitment Coordinator based in Harrogate. This is a varied role responsible for coordinating recruitment, onboarding and training activity across a large operational workforce. You will work closely with the Training Manager and hiring managers across multiple locations, with travel required approximately 2-3 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process for operational and technical vacancies. Arrange interviews and liaise with candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process. Coordinate new starter onboarding and inductions. Support pre-employment processes, including drug and alcohol testing. Work closely with operational and engineering managers on recruitment requirements and interviews. Maintain accurate recruitment records and documentation. Support the implementation and continuous improvement of recruitment systems and processes. Provide general recruitment and training coordination and administration.
About You
Previous recruitment, recruitment coordination or similar experience. Experience within a high-volume or operational recruitment environment would be advantageous. Excellent organisation and attention to detail. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities effectively. Confident working independently and taking ownership of recruitment activity. Comfortable travelling regularly between regional sites. Experience recruiting within transport, logistics, engineering, care or another high-volume environment would be beneficial.
