Training Coordinator

A leading engineering services provider and manufacturer of niche products has a new vacancy for a Training Coordinator. You will coordinate and maintain effective training arrangements across the site, supporting the onboarding and continued development of new and existing employees. Applicants are sought with previous experience in a training, onboarding and learning and development position in a fast-paced environment.

The Role

Coordinate internal and external training programmes and work closely with third party providers.

Maintain accurate training records and employee learning data.

Manage training bookings, invitations, attendance and completion records.

Liaise with employees, managers, trainers and external training providers.

Support the administration of onboarding and induction programmes.

Monitor mandatory and compliance-related training requirements.

Prepare training materials, resources, reports and attendance documentation.

Track training budgets, invoices and expenditure where required.

Gather feedback and help evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes.

Produce regular reports and updates on training activity and completion.

Identify opportunities to improve training administration and processes.

Provide general administrative support to the Learning & Development function.

The Person

Previous experience in a training coordination, onboarding or learning administration role.

Experience working within a busy engineering, manufacturing, production, logistics or retail environment.

Experience coordinating training schedules, courses and employee attendance.

Excellent general computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook and learning or HR systems.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to communicate effectively at all organisational levels
