Job Description - Training Manager - Workplace Wellbeing

TEESSIDE (Ref 719) PERMANENT *FULL or PART TIME*

Workplace Wellbeing Trainer
Are you passionate about mental health and wellbeing in the workplace? Do you thrive in front of a room, inspiring others and making a real difference? If so, we’d love to hear from you!

We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Trainer to lead the design and delivery of a growing portfolio of wellbeing training across the private, public, and third sectors.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Deliver engaging workshops, webinars, and Mental Health First Aid courses—mostly in person across Teesside, with some online sessions.
  • Spend at least 60% of your time delivering training that makes a real impact.
  • Lead client consultations, scoping sessions, and pilot workshops to tailor training to their needs.
  • Refresh and develop training content to keep it current, creative, and aligned with the brand.
  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness, sharing insights with clients and colleagues.

What You’ll Bring

  • Qualified Mental Health First Aid England Trainer ideally, although training can be provided.
  • Experience delivering mental health training in workplace settings.
  • Strong facilitation skills and the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
  • A creative, adaptable approach to content design and delivery.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and project management skills.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and digital platforms like Teams/Zoom.
