Tramper Driver

Position: Tramper Driver

Salary: £45,000 + Overtime

Hours: Full Time - 5 shifts per week - Sunday to Thursday Evening / Friday Morning

This is a permanent position and an exciting opportunity to work for a market leading company, offering a competitive salary, overtime opportunities and a consistent working pattern.

As a Tramper Driver, you'll be a core part of the transport team, completing planned routes throughout the week and working exclusively with Amazon drop-and-swap trailers, with no manual handling required.

Responsibilities:

5 shifts per week, starting on Sunday and finishing on Thursday evening or Friday morning, depending on the Sunday start time
Full route plan provided for the week
Route provided on Thursday for the following week's work
Tramping work, with overnight stays away from home
Information provided on where to park and sleep during the week
No manual handling required
Completing routes safely and efficiently
Ensuring all relevant driving and working-time regulations are followed
Carrying out vehicle and trailer checks as required

Skills:

Minimum of 3 months' tramping experience
Full UK HGV licence and relevant qualifications
Experience with overnight tramping and working away from home
Reliable and punctual
A methodical, professional approach to work
Understanding or experience of drivers' hours and working-time regulations
