Transaction Manager

We have an opportunity for a Transaction Manager to join our team at Volkswagen Passenger Car, Poole

As a Transaction Manager you will support the Sales Manager in leading and developing the sales team, maximising profitability across vehicle sales, finance and insurance, ensuring every customer receives a seamless and professional experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead, coach and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales objectives.

• Manage vehicle sales enquiries, diary activity and dealer web management to maximise opportunities.

• Drive profitability across new and used vehicle sales, finance, insurance and related products.

• Ensure the team has strong knowledge of products, promotions and marketing activity through effective daily communication.

• Monitor sales performance, stock levels and departmental processes to support efficiency and budget control.

• Review customer experience measures and identify areas for improvement to achieve brand and dealership targets.

• Oversee finance and insurance referral processes, ensuring a smooth and compliant customer handover.

• Monitor outstanding balances, refunds and vehicle-related administration accurately and efficiently.

• Resolve customer concerns calmly and professionally, involving others where appropriate to deliver the right outcome.

What you will need to be a Transaction Manager at Volkswagen Passenger Car:

• Transaction Manager experience, or proven sales leadership experience.

• Automotive industry knowledge and a strong track record of achieving targets.

• Excellent organisational, communication and people skills.

• Positive, driven and resilient, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Good computer skills and a full UK driving licence.

Hours of Work are Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 18:00; Saturdays, 08:30 - 17:00; and 1 in 3 Sundays, 10:00 - 16:00. This is a 5-day working week, with a set day off during the week
