The Role:


Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Transaction Team Leader supports the business by:


1) Managing Accounts Receivable including all customer and supplier transactions


2) Managing Accounts Payable including self-billing and bulk invoicing


3) Managing a small team


4) Partner with credit control and management accounts team


 


Key Responsibilities:



Accounts Receivable



  • Ensure customer receipts are correctly posted including finance company receipts.

  • Produce reporting to support any receipt claims

  • Manage queries and exceptions, resolving any discrepancies.

  • Ensure partner rebates are processes on a timely basis in accordance with agreements.

  • Ensure supplier rebates are processed on a timely basis in accordance with agreements.

  • Manage queries and exceptions, resolving any discrepancies, provide any supporting documentation as required.

  • Support cashflow forecasting processing in respect of receipts,


 


Accounts Payable



  • Ensure supplier invoices are posted accurately and on a timely basis.

  • Ensure invoice queries are resolve.

  • Ensure balances on Netsuite are reconciled to supplier statements on a regular basis.

  • Manage preparation of supplier payments runs for approval.

  • Ensure payments are ready for approval as required.

  • Manage remittance advices as part of payment process.

  • Work with internal and external partners to make any improvements to Netsuite processes to enhance performance of the team.

  • Support cashflow forecasting processing in respect of invoice payments and timing.


 


Team Management



  • Support the development and training of the team.

  • Improve systems and processes to best utilise the skills of the team.

  • Partner with credit control and management accounts team.

  • Work with management accounts team so ensure purchase invoice processes aligned.

  • Work with credit control to support the follow up of overdue balances and queries


 


Key Requirements



  • Ability to managing a small team.

  • Experience of using excel and managing data.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Strong organisational skills: The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines is necessary.

  • Good communication skills: The ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
