Transactional Finance Manager

FRS are recruiting a Bookkeeper / Transactional Finance Manager for a reputable SME group business based in Rugby. The business have excellent links to both the M1 & M6 making it a very easy commute from surrounding areas such as Northampton, Leicester, Leamington Spa & Daventry.

Suitable candidates will be AAT Qualified with 3-4 years' experience within a similar role. The business use Xero & MS Excel & experience of these systems would be a real advantage! You'll be responsible for leading a team of 3 in the Accounts department & experience of leadership is essential.

A salary of £35,000 to £45,000 is attached based on experience but negotiable on experience.

Duties Will Include

• Purchase Ledger & Sales Ledger duties including raising / processing invoices / processing payments
• General Ledger and VAT Returns
• Cash and Banking
• Reconciling accounts
• Processing a monthly payroll
• Credit control
• Supporting the month & year end accounts reporting
• Monthly meetings with the Management team & taking part in adhoc project work
• Assisting with forecasting / budgets
• Supporting the external Accountants at month-end with the prosecution of management accounts
