We're working with a fast-growing organisation in Cardiff Bay seeking a Transactional Finance Team Leader to oversee a high-performing finance operations team. This is an excellent opportunity to lead Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Credit Control functions while playing a key role in improving processes and supporting business growth.

Description

The Role

Reporting into senior finance leadership, you'll be responsible for managing the day-to-day performance of the transactional finance team, ensuring service levels are maintained and continuous improvements are delivered across finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop teams across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Credit Control
Monitor KPIs, team performance and service delivery
Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies
Support month-end reporting activities
Manage escalated supplier and customer queries
Coach, mentor and develop team members
Support finance system enhancements and automation projects
Ensure controls and procedures are maintained
Collaborate with stakeholders across the wider business

Profile

About You

Previous experience leading or supervising a transactional finance team
Strong background across AP, AR and Credit Control
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience driving process improvements and efficiencies
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong systems and reporting skills
