SRG are working with a leading waste management and recycling company who have a long and very successful history of supporting the UK chemical industry. They are now looking for a Transfer Station Manager to join the team. This is a hands-on role within the waste industry, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the site, leading the team and driving improvements across safety, performance and efficiency.
Key responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day running of the transfer station.
Maintain high standards across safety, environmental compliance and site operations.
Manage, coach and develop the site team.
Monitor KPIs and improve productivity, service and cost control.
Take responsibility for site budgets and financial performance.
Identify and deliver continuous improvement initiatives.
Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
What we're looking for

COTC and IOSH qualifications.
Experience managing a transfer station, waste facility or similar operational environment.
Strong leadership and commercial skills, ideally with P&L, transport or logistics experience.
Full right to work in the UK there is no sponsorship available for this role
