Transport & Delivery Administrator

Location: Leicestershire - LE19 
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5.30pm
Full-time | Fully office based

SF Partners are recruiting for a Transport & Delivery Administrator to join an established business in Leicester.

This varied role combines delivery coordination, customer service and administration. You’ll track deliveries, resolve queries and work closely with customers, carriers and internal teams to keep orders moving.

Responsibilities:

Check delivery portals to confirm deliveries have arrived.

Chase late, missing or split deliveries and keep customers informed.

Raise claims with carriers for late or short deliveries.

Check transport charges and other invoices before authorising payment.

Download and save proof of delivery documents, checking photographs for damage.

Contact customers to arrange deliveries and send delivery notes.

Organise and maintain export documentation.

Liaise with the warehouse team regarding orders for dispatch.

Answer incoming calls and welcome visitors.

Support the wider team with general administration.

About you:

Previous experience in administration, customer service, order processing or delivery coordination would be useful. You’ll need:

Strong organisation and attention to detail.

A polite, confident and professional telephone manner.

The ability to prioritise tasks and follow queries through to resolution.

Confidence using computer systems and learning new processes.

A reliable approach and willingness to support colleagues.

A focus on providing helpful, responsive customer service.
