Transport Administrator

We are seeking a Transport Administrator to join our clients expanding team in Rochford. This role is ideal for someone with prior experience in a transport administration role, who is also a car driver due to the location of our office. The position offers a structured work week from Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with a one-hour lunch break.

• Daily administrative tasks associated with transportation operations.
• Maintain and update transportation schedules, records, and documentation in an organised and timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with team members and external partners to ensure efficient operation of transport activities.
• Dealing with calls and emails
• Handle enquiries and concerns related to transportation and provide timely solutions.
• You may also be required to help with picking of orders during busy periods 

• Ideally proven experience in a transport administration role.
• Must be a car driver due to the location of the office.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using standard office software and transportation management systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
