Transport Administrator

Noble Recruiting are looking for an experienced Transport Administrator to join a professional and prestigious company based in Stanford-Le-Hope, Essex.

Full time, Permanent position
Hours: 11:00am to 7:00pm Weekdays
Salary: £27,000 to £30,000 per annum

Please note: Own transport is essential due to the location of the Company.

We are looking for a confident Transport Administrator to be involved with end-to-end international supply with a complex operation offering variety in the role, arranging collections/deliveries throughout the UK.

You will:

• Provide administrative support for daily transport operations
• Coordinate driver schedules, route plans, and vehicle allocations
• Maintain accurate records on driver hours, tachographs, and compliance documents
• Process delivery paperwork including PODs, manifests, and booking confirmations
• Liaise with drivers, warehouse teams, and customers to resolve delivery queries
• Monitor vehicle tracking systems and update transport systems accordingly
• Assist in preparing transport reports and performance KPIs
• Support incident reporting and general administrative tasks
• Ensure compliance with legal, company, and H&S standards

The ideal candidate will have worked within the Transport team recently with a minimum of 2 years experience.

• Highly IT literate with a strong knowledge of driver hours, tachograph and WTD legislation.
• Strong administrative skills to ensure all tasks and work completed correctly.
• Ability to react to a fast changing environment.
