Job Description - Transport Administrator

Transport Administrator
Northampton
£25,000 to £28,000 DOE
Monday to Friday

We are supporting a well-established transport and logistics company based in Northampton, with their search for a highly organised and proactive TransportAdministrator to join their team. This role will require the accurate maintaining of compliance and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of fleet and driver-related administration. The ideal candidate will be a dependable, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Book repairs and defect rectifications with suppliers, coordinating with the planning team
Manage vehicle compliance, including scheduling services and MOTs
Maintain driver files and perform driving licence checks regularly.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date vehicle records.
Monitor and administer drivers’ hours, WTD compliance, and infringement records using RHA Analysis
Handle general office administration

Candidate Requirements:

Prior experience in a fleet or transport administration/coordinator role
Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
Strong communication both written and verbal.
High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
