Transport Administrator - Oxfordshire - £30,000 + Benefits

Location: Oxfordshire
Salary: £30,000 per year
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 10am-7pm (1hr unpaid break) + 1 in every 4 Saturday mornings

LucyJames Recruitment is hiring on behalf of a well-established freight company offering air, road, ocean, and courier services across the UK and worldwide. They’re looking for a confident and detail-oriented Transport Administrator to join a fast-paced office team supporting drivers, customers, and internal operations.

Role Overview:

• Support morning driver despatch and EDC readiness
• Handle customer queries, KPI reports, and invoice issues
• Process pallet bookings, storage movements, and discrepancies
• Print labels/barcodes and manage claims for delays/damages
• Liaise with warehouse and sales teams daily
• Cover occasional evening shifts and provide holiday cover
• Ensure smooth operations for next-day deliveries

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a busy transport or logistics office
• Great attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Confident using Microsoft Office and ideally TMS software
• Strong communicator and team player
• Must know the Oxfordshire road network well
