Position: Transport Admin Clerk
Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour
Contract: Temporary (Up to 6 Weeks)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 18:00

We are currently recruiting for a Transport Admin Clerk to join a busy transport office on a temporary basis for up to 6 weeks. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and proactive individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced transport and logistics environment.

The Role

As a Transport Admin Clerk, you will play a key role in supporting the transport operation by ensuring all administrative tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Completing driver debriefs at the end of each shift
Carrying out a range of transport administration tasks
Processing and filing transport documentation
Updating transport systems and maintaining accurate records
Liaising with drivers and the transport team
Answering telephone and email enquiries
Providing general administrative support to the transport department
Assisting the transport team with the smooth day-to-day running of the operation

Requirements

Previous administration experience (transport or logistics experience is desirable)
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work well under pressure in a busy office environment
A positive, reliable, and professional attitude
