Job Description - Transport Administrator (Dayshift)
At Highland Spring, we’re proud of the journey our products take — from the Ochil Hills to customers across the UK. Behind that journey is a logistics operation that runs around the clock to keep everything moving safely and efficiently.
We’re looking for a Transport Administrator to join our Customer Logistics team at The Ochils site in Blackford.
This is a key operational role at the heart of our site, helping to coordinate vehicle movements, support transport planning and ensure everything runs smoothly day-to-day.
If you’re organised, proactive and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, we’d love to hear from you.
What you’ll be responsible for:
Transport Coordination
Book vehicles in and out of site using our transport management system
Ensure vehicle availability aligns with production and loading plans
Support transport planning for customer orders, including Tesco
Site Operations & Safety
Maintain safe and efficient vehicle flow across the site
Ensure all transport activity meets health and safety standards
Work closely with warehouse, logistics and hauliers to keep schedules on track
Administration & Systems
Keep transport systems up to date with accurate, real-time information
Process customer orders and support fulfilment through coordination with teams
Manage documentation, loading tickets and driver paperwork
Communication & Support
Act as a key point of contact for drivers, visitors and contractors
Maintain clear communication with hauliers, warehouse and logistics teams
Manage shared inbox activity and support out-of-hours site coordination
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working
Support wider logistics and warehouse operations as needed
About You
We’re looking for someone who is organised, confident and enjoys being part of a team that keeps things moving.
You’ll likely bring:
Experience in a transport, logistics or administrative role (manufacturing environment desirable)
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
Good understanding of transport processes and health & safety
Excellent organisation and attention to detail
The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Experience with systems such as Transporeon or Syteline would be an advantage, however, not essential
Working Pattern
This role operates on a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern from 06:15 until 18:30
The salary on offer for this position is £30,681 per annum.
Why Highland Spring?
We’re building a people-focused, values-led organisation where everyone plays their part.
We’re a Team – we collaborate and support each other
We’re Proud – of our products and the work we do
We Care – about our colleagues, customers and environment
Every role at Highland Spring helps deliver natural source water from the Ochil Hills to customers across the UK — and this role is key to keeping that moving.
If you’re ready to play a key role in keeping our operation running smoothly and be part of a team that takes pride in what it does — we’d love to hear from you.
