Client Overview:

Loom Talent have been exclusively engaged by a forward-thinking Transport provider, renowned for its commitment to delivering top-notch logistics solutions in the fast-moving world distribution. As a key player in the industry, they pride themselves on a commitment to delivering excellence service, now seeking a Transport Compliance Supervisor to own the regional in-house fleet & external haulier complaince activities.

This role would suit a developing; Transport Compliance Supervisor, Transport Fleet Supervisor, Assistant Compliance Manager or Transport Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Transport Compliance Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the end to end compliance operations, across a multi-site transport operations. Your responsibilities will include:

* Managing a small Transport Driver & Administration team.

* Oversee a modern fleet of up to 25+ vehicles.

* Lead all operational H&S, Compliance and Fleet Maintenance agendas across the Transport operation.

* Ensuring seamless coordination and optimisation of logistics operations from an internal synergy and continuous improvement perspective.

* Implementing best practices whilst ensuring sufficient usage of the TMS platform.

* To help support and develop individuals, provide developmental opportunities within the business.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate for the Transport Compliance Supervisor position will possess:

* A Logistics Distribution & Supply Chain Background - Essential.

* A CPC National / International qualification, demonstrating your deep understanding of transportation regulations – Advantageous.

* 2+ Years Transport supervisory or management experience within a 3PL / Haulage / Retail or FMCG environment – Advantageous.

* Proven experience in assisting with or managing 50+ vehicles, from either an operational or dedicated compliance perspective – Essential.

* Sub-contracting experience is highly advantageous but not essential.

* A true passion for people development, providing excellent service and continuous improvement.

* Strong leadership skills and a commitment to fostering a culture of excellence.

* Commutable to the Castle Donington area 2/3 days per week - Essential.

Salary & Package:

* Salary - £35,000 to £40,000
