Transport Contract Manager

The Transport Contract Manager will oversee an internal Customer within the Transport & Distribution department, focusing mainly on the optimisation of logistical operations on site.

Ensuring contract compliance and building strong relationships with clients will be key aspects of this role based in Yate - Bristol.

Description

The Transport Contract Manager will be responsible for;

• Oversee and manage contracts within the Transport & Distribution department.
• Ensure all contractual obligations are met in an efficient and timely manner.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Optimise logistical operations to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve contractual and logistical issues.
• Monitor market trends in the Transport & Distribution industry.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Implement strategies for continuous improvement within the logistics department.

Profile

A successful Transport Contract Manager should have:

• CPC Qualified or the ability to complete
• Experience in contract management within the Transport & Distribution industry.
• Strong knowledge of logistics and distribution processes.
• Ability to manage on Site customer relationship and report on performance and service levels
• Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to analyse data and identify areas for improvement.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
• Commutable daily to Yate - Bristol
• Monday to Friday Role - 8:00am - 16:30pm

• An salary of £38,000 with the potential to rise to £39,360 after the next review period.
