About the Role:

We’re looking for a proactive and organised Transport Coordinator to join our client. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient coordination of daily transport operations, supporting the delivery of goods and services on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and schedule transport routes and deliveries.
• Liaise with drivers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
• Monitor transport performance and resolve any issues or delays.
• Maintain accurate records of transport activities, costs, and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to health & safety and transport regulations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in logistics and transport planning.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a transport or logistics coordination role.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with transport management systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of UK road transport regulations and compliance.
