Transport Coordinator

We are currently seeking an experienced Transport Planner to join a fast-paced and dynamic transport operation. This is a key role responsible for ensuring the efficient planning and execution of daily transport activities.

Shift Pattern:
4 days on / 4 days off
12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities:
Planning and scheduling vehicles and drivers to meet operational requirements
Monitoring transport activity to ensure on-time and efficient deliveries
Managing driver hours and ensuring compliance with transport legislation
Handling any issues or delays and implementing effective solutions
Communicating with drivers, customers, and internal teams
Maintaining accurate records and using transport planning systems effectively

Key Requirements:
Previous experience in a transport planning or logistics role
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work well under pressure in a time-critical environment
Good knowledge of driver hours and transport compliance
Strong communication and IT skills
