The role:
As a Transport Coordinator you will be working within a warehouse environment and your duties will be as followed:
Reporting to the

Operations

Manager you will be responsible for compliance and operational aspects of

t

ransport for our Stafford Fulfilment Centre and its off-site partners.
Maintaining a proactive approach to risk management and adherence to site health & safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
You will ensure the operation consistently meets the requirements of the business, in terms of quality, productivity, whilst taking care of daily and weekly operations reporting and key performance indicators management.
Creating effective working relationships within Transport, to build a climate where colleagues feel valued and engaged.
Ensure all colleagues comply with H&S policies and safe working practices.
Conduct

colleague despatch and

de-briefs

.
Deal with queries in a prompt and professional manner and escalating where required to management.
Manage equipment defects efficiently and in line with process.
Ensuring SLA is always met for all equipment servicing/MOT.
Ensure all deliveries and collections are made on time and all delays are recorded and communicated.
Resource planning of core and agency colleagues in line with schedule requirements.
Escalate all accidents and incidents and assist with completion of necessary reports

Consult with warehouse daily to

understand loading position and assess any required changes to the daily schedule

without jeopardising the service to stores.
Engaging with our 3PLs on any potential risk to store service through to resolution.
Ensure all aspects of administration within the department are kept up to date.

About you:
As a Transport Coordinator you will have the following skills and experience:

Previous experience needed
You will be able to travel to

Stafford, ST16 1WQ
Be an excellent communicator both written and oral.
Have a positive attitude Can Do Attitude with the ability to listen and be approachable.
Willing to receive training and perform duties in all areas of the operation.
Knowledge and experience of materials handling equipment, together with relevant transport management systems.
Knowledge and experience of managing service level agreements (SLAs) and KPIs.
Knowledge and experience of resource planning management.
Have an appreciation of budgets and can demonstrate proactive cost control management.
Energy and tenacity to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge and experience of tachograph, driving hours and the working time
