Transport Driver Manager

Our Client, a FTSE100 supplier to the retail industry now has an exciting opportunity for a Transport Driver Manager to join their team. The key purpose of this role is to manage and oversee a team of 35-40 drivers.

Key Accountabilities:

• Management of circa 35 - 40 drivers
• Absence management
• Sickness Management
• Holiday management
• Identifying infringements and feeding back to drivers accordingly
• General day to day queries from drivers
• Monthly 1-2-1’s
• Various feedback channels

Skills Required:

• Excellent people management, leadership, and communication skills.
• Experience managing in a transport or logistics environment.
• Strong knowledge of transport regulations and health & safety.
• Experience of working in a fast-paced operational environment

This is a full time position working Monday - Friday, and fully based out of our clients offices in Manchester.
