This role sits within a transport team of 4 , as part of a wider civils group of 20+ , giving you the perfect mix of support, exposure, and progression. Why This Role Stands Out This is a particularly strong opportunity for a Transport Planner who's keen to move into the engineering/design side of projects. You'll gain hands-on experience working closely with civil engineers, giving you the chance to broaden your technical skillset beyond pure planning and get involved in more detailed, design-led work. The Role Prepare Transport Assessments, Statements, and Travel Plans Carry out junction modelling (ARCADY, PICADY, LINSIG) Analyse transport data and contribute to technical reports Support the development of sustainable and active travel strategies Work closely with civil engineers on integrated infrastructure designs Liaise with local authorities and stakeholders Get involved across the full project lifecycle What They're Looking For 2-5 years' experience in transport planning or engineering Degree in Civil Engineering, Transport Planning, or similar Experience with Junctions software / LinSig Understanding of UK standards and guidance Strong communication and report writing skills Someone keen to develop into a more engineering-focused role What You'll Get £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience Clear progression and support towards Chartership Hybrid working Exposure to high-quality, design-led projects A close-knit team where you'll get real responsibility Opportunity to learn directly from experienced civil engineers Interested?
