JOB TITLE: Transport Manager

HOURS: 8:00 till 17:00 Monday till Friday

LOCATION: Erith

Duties:

Provide a full cover for all Transport/Fleet at Capital Hoist. Managing all Fleet. currently managing 20+ work vans, 3 Hiab Lorrys, 2 Pickups and 7 Work cars. This role is a forever growing role with our fleet increasing year after year.

Managing all aspects of the transport from MOT and Servicing to Repairs. Managing all fleet issues and Maintenance.

Regular communication with Scott and Fraser regarding behaviours throughout the fleet. Communicating areas of concern for us to manage.

Allocating spare vehicles when required, managing fobs and upkeep of spare vans.

Checking vehicles and loads and upkeep of vans.

Point of contact for any Fleet accidents. Managing paperwork and liaising with insurance company.

Working to FORS and keeping all records and paperwork for regular audits. Managing all company vehicle receipts and keeping an up-to-date record of all spending. Managing weekly check sheets along with all certs and booking in slots for staff to carry out training as needed.

Toolbox talks on vehicles.

Co-ordinate the flow of information between the business and external companies.

Maintain electronic filing of data via internal systems.

Forward thinking and problem solving when coming to solutions with your colleagues regarding all transport. Looking into areas where we can save money and improve on the fleet outgoings.

Assisting with ad hoc projects around the office.
