Transport Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Group Transport Manager to join our growing team. This is a key role responsible for overseeing daily transport operations, supporting line managers with vehicle-related issues, and ensuring compliance across multiple sites. You’ll play a vital part in driving operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with legal, safety, and operational standards
• Oversee vehicle maintenance, driver conduct, licensing, tachograph management, and DVLA regulations
• Identify and mitigate compliance-related risks
• Maintain operator licence obligations
• Lead initiatives to improve safety protocols and operational performance

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in fleet/logistics compliance and management
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Mechanical and electrical vehicle knowledge
• In-depth understanding of DVLA standards and vehicle maintenance
