Location: Field Based - South - Managing 3 depots and a Fleet of 20-25

The Transport Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategies in line with our clients strategic objectives. This is a hands-on role in raising standards and improving Fleet, Legal and Compliance. You will be the standard-bearer for operational excellence.

What will you need?

• Previous experience in a Transport Management role, ideally within Construction, Utilities, Waste or Recycling
• Experience in managing Fleet compliance and drivers.
• Proven track record in leading and empowering teams.
• Exposure to managing Transport operations across multiple offices/depots across a region.
• Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
• Motivated with the ability to instil confidence in others and manage individual performance.
• CPC qualification and exemplary knowledge of drivers, transport operations and driver and vehicle compliance.
• Desire to become a product/service expert.
• LGV licence or equivalent.
