Transport Operator 

Pertemps have an excellent opportunity to work as a Transport Operator within there expanding transport team. The reason for expansion is due to new contract wins.  

Working Hours / Shift Pattern
+ Monday to Friday
+ 9am to 5:30pm 

The successful Transport Operator
+ Have previous experience in a fast paced Transport and Logistics Operation.
+ Be comfortable with Microsoft Excel
+ Strong communicator on email, phone and in person 

Your duties as a Transport Operator will include:
+ Track and coordinate shipments from the EU to UK.
+ Monitor vehicle and shipment movements using TMS systems.
+ Escalate critical operational issues and and implement recovery plans.
+ Work collaboratively with Transport Planners and Customs team.  

You will receive:
+ £14.62 per hour
