Working Hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 03:00 - 11:30

Are you an experienced Transport Planner with multi-drop planning experience?

We’re recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established logistics company, for a Transport Planner to join their team based in Reading. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, early-morning environment and is looking to take the next step in their logistics career.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate multi-drop delivery routes for a mixed fleet of vehicles (rigids, vans, artics)
• Ensure all routes are cost-effective and meet customer delivery requirements
• Monitor live operations and respond to transport issues as they arise
• Communicate effectively with drivers and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations
• Maintain full compliance with drivers’ hours and working time regulations

About You
Previous experience in multi-drop transport planning is essential
Strong knowledge of planning for various vehicle types, including rigids, vans, and artics
Good geographical understanding of RG, SL, and parts of TW and UB postcodes
Highly organised with strong communication and IT skills
Comfortable working independently during early morning shifts

Working Hours:
Tuesday to Saturday
Start Time: 03:00am
Finish Time: 11:30am
