Transport Planner

Hays Recruitment is currently hiring for a Transport Planner based in the Maidstone area. This is a full-time, permanent position with an immediate start.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday
10-hour shifts per day

Saturday work is required, but a weekday off will be provided when a Saturday is worked.
Salary:

£30,000 - £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and coordinate routes for HGV drivers
Monitor delivery schedules
Communicate effectively with drivers and customers
Schedule and plan vehicle maintenance

Requirements:

Previous experience in transport planning
Strong knowledge of the transportation industry
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Excellent communication skills
