(Transport Planner) - Position Overview

Our client is a market leader with the ability to offer an array of solutions to suit your logistical needs such as overnight shipment to Ireland, UK or European pallet distribution, solutions for import and export, storage, pick/pack or full 3PL services.

Due to continuous organic growth within the company, they are looking for an experienced Irish Planner to join our busy operations team.

The position involves engaging with clients and agents, tracking shipments, and processing customs declarations. The ideal candidate will have outstanding communication skills, be capable of functioning independently as well as collaboratively, have a background in organising Irish groupage trailers and possess knowledge of customs.

(Transport Planner) - Position Requirements

Key Tasks:

• Handling customers consignments
• Liaising with the Warehouse and Transport teams
• Customer Services
• Costings
• Planning groupage trailers to Northern and Southern Ireland
• Customs declarations

Required Skills:

• A proactive mentality
• Team player
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to use own initiative
• Be proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook
• Telephone and email communication skills
• Must be proficient in the English language.

(Transport Planner) - Position Remuneration

• Monday to Friday 8am-5pm with 1 hour lunch break.
• £25,000 - £30,000
• Bonus scheme (Based on attendance)
