We’re looking for a motivated and detail-driven Transport Planner to become a vital part of a fast-moving transport operation in East London. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of daily operations—coordinating routes, solving problems on the fly, and ensuring smooth communication between customers, drivers, and depots. Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate efficient delivery and collection schedules within the pallet network

• Handle incoming and outgoing communication with customers, drivers, and depots

• Book jobs into internal systems with a high level of accuracy

• Liaise with drivers for end-of-day debriefs, handovers, and shift briefings

• Respond to telephone and email enquiries professionally and promptly

• Ensure compliance with company procedures and relevant transport legislation

What You'll Need

• Previous experience in a transport/logistics planning or coordination role

• Strong administrative background with excellent attention to detail

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Confident telephone manner and ability to handle queries effectively

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

• Ability to prioritise tasks, work independently, and maintain a flexible, solutions-oriented mindset

• Comfortable working in a busy, deadline-driven environment
