Job Description - Transport Planner

Are you an experienced Transport Planner looking for your next challenge? We’re working with a well-established logistics company based in Norwich that is seeking a motivated and organised individual to join their team as a Transport Planner.

The Role:
As a Transport Planner, you’ll be responsible for coordinating and planning the daily transport operations to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning and scheduling vehicle routes and loads
Liaising with drivers, customers, and third parties
Monitoring and adjusting plans in response to changes or delays
Ensuring compliance with transport regulations and company policies
Managing transport administration and documentation

About You:

Previous experience in a transport planning or logistics coordination role is an advantage, however full training will be given.
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
