Transport Planner / Crewe area / £35,000 - £40,000 + benefits

My Client

Is a market leading manufacturer of FMCG products that is currently looking for a full-time Transport Scheduler based out of a site near Crewe.

The Role

This role involves working as a Transport Scheduler, scheduling deliveries, liaising with a number of production sites and coordinating with drivers, customer service department and customers to best meet the demand. It is a role that requires good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.

The Person

Prior experience in routing vehicles.

Able to adapt to last-minute changes and changing operational demands, reorganising transport schedules effectively to minimise disruption and maintain service levels.

Eye for detail on specific instructions.

Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.

The successful candidate will be energetic, friendly, and well presented.
