The Opportunity
An established multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy is looking to recruit a Transport Planner / Senior Transport Planner to join its growing team in Didcot. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Transport Planner / Senior Transport Planner to work on a diverse portfolio of development projects while progressing their career within a supportive and collaborative environment.

The Role
As a Transport Planner / Senior Transport Planner, your responsibilities will include:
Preparing site appraisals, feasibility studies and pre-application advice.
Producing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans.
Undertaking traffic modelling and junction capacity assessments.
Liaising with clients, project teams and local authorities.
Attending project meetings and providing professional transport planning advice.
Supporting the successful delivery of projects while maintaining high technical standards.
About You
To be considered for this Transport Planner / Senior Transport Planner position, you should have:
A degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Experience working within a transport planning consultancy.
Proven experience preparing Transport Assessments and Transport Statements.
Knowledge of industry-standard junction modelling software.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to build professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Membership of, or working towards, a professional body such as CIHT or ICE. Chartered status would be advantageous.

£38,000 - £46,000 salary.
