We are looking to appoint a Transport Supervisor to support the day-to-day running of a busy Hull transport operation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Transport Planner, Senior Planner or Transport Supervisor looking to join a growing business where they can make a genuine impact and further develop their career.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting the daily transport operation and ensuring service levels are maintained
Coordinating vehicle and driver activity
Liaising with drivers, customers and internal departments
Monitoring operational performance and resolving issues as they arise
Supporting compliance across driver hours, WTD and transport legislation
Assisting with planning, resource allocation and operational efficiency
Ensuring transport documentation and records are maintained accurately
Supporting continuous improvement across the transport function
What We're Looking For

Previous experience within transport planning, transport operations or transport supervision
Strong communication and organisational skills
Good understanding of transport compliance and driver management
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment
Experience using transport planning systems and Microsoft Office
Transport Manager CPC qualification desirable, although applications are welcomed from candidates without CPC who can demonstrate strong transport operational experience
