Travel Consultant - Part Time

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a well-established independent travel agency in Essex. My client is seeking an experienced Travel Consultant with previous travel sales experience.

This role will ideally suit someone with a proven Travel Agency background, excellent customer service and a passion for travel.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Working in a branch, with a small team of travel consultants
Quoting on a wide variety of worldwide travel itineraries
Selling luxury, tailormade, cruise, ski and beach holidays
Offering your customer a choice of tour operator, to sell the right holiday for their needs
Selling additional products and services, such as car hire and travel insurance.
Greeting customers face to face and also over the phone
Working to sales targets to earn commission whilst offering excellent customer service

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

A minimum of 1 years relevant experience in a travel agency environment
Passionate about travel and customer service
Enthusiastic, creative and with a positive attitude

PACKAGE:

A competitive basic salary + commission
5 days on a rota between Monday - Saturday; 9am - 5:30pm (3 Saturdays per month with 1 full weekend off)
Closed Sunday's and Bank Holidays
Part time or Full Time (Days Negotiable)
