What you’ll do
- 1. Systems & Infrastructure (TMS Lead)
- Kyriba Ownership: Serve as the primary lead for the Kyriba TMS. Complete the final stages of the project close-out, including remaining UAT and bank connectivity.
- System Training: Design and deliver training for the wider team to ensure the TMS is utilised to its full potential.
- Automation: Identify manual workflows (e.g. accruals and daily rebalancing) that can be migrated into Kyriba to reduce operational risk and increase efficiency.
- 2. Governance & Risk Oversight
- Policy Management: Own the maintenance and update cycles for all Treasury policy documents and procedures.
- KRI Reporting: Develop, monitor, and report on Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to ensure the function operates within Board-approved limits.
- KYC & Due Diligence: Manage the Bank Due Diligence process and handle all KYC/onboarding requirements for our banking counterparties.
- 3. Operational Control & Back Office
- Daily Operations: Take full charge of the day-to-day Treasury operations, ensuring all processes are executed accurately and on time.
- Line Management: Directly manage and develop the Treasury Associate, overseeing their day-to-day tasks to ensure high accuracy and professional growth.
- MI & Reporting: Oversee the production of the Treasury Management Committee (TMC), CASS and Trust Committee reporting packs.
- Audit Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external audit requests, ensuring "audit-ready" documentation at all times.
- 4. Commercial & Administrative Support
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with a variety of teams across the business to support broader company initiatives and operational alignment.
- Finance Liaison: Oversee the Treasury processes, ensuring a seamless interface with the wider Finance team.
- Ad-hoc Response: Provide support handling requests without impacting BAU.
Experience & Skills
- Technical Background: 3+ years in a Treasury environment, with specific experience in Back Office functions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional Treasury qualification (e.g., ACT/AMCT) or Accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA).
- Systems Savvy: Proven experience with a Treasury Management System (TMS)—ideally Kyriba. Experience with implementation or UAT is a significant advantage.
- Communication & Pace: An excellent communicator who thrives in a cross-functional environment and is comfortable working at pace to meet business needs.
- Governance Focused: A strong understanding of the "Three Lines of Defense" model and a passion for building robust control environments.
- People Leader: Experience (or a strong desire) in managing and mentoring junior talent.
- Analytical Mindset: Comfortable navigating complex data and identifying the "why" behind tasks and data.
