Your new job working as a Treaty Reinsurance Account Technician will provide technical accounting support for an expanding and successful Lloyds reinsurance broker handling all forms of Reinsurance business. Your new brokers have been established for more than 50 years and are privately owned with their head office based in the heart of the City. They have successfully traded business with the London and International Insurance and Reinsurance markets on behalf of clients domiciled in over 90 territories across the globe. They provide their business partners with a specialist, high quality and personalised insurance & reinsurance broking and analytical service carried out by highly experienced personnel as well as provide (re)insurance solutions within the global insurance market. Due to growth within their technical team, they are looking to recruit a Treaty Accounts Technician

Your new role

In your new role working as a Treaty Reinsurance Account Technician who can provide technical accounting support for an expanding and successful Lloyd's reinsurance broker handling all forms of Reinsurance business. Your new role will be to ensure that all documentation produced for clients and underwriters is issued and that signing of treaty accounts and all other related technical functions are finalised on each treaty account. Ensuring the accuracy of the treaty processing and records as well as scheduling and prioritising the workload of the non-bureau IBA team. You will also prepare weekly/monthly reports on volumes of treaty accounts received and processed, as well as prepare ad hoc reports and statistical preparation. Other duties will include making sure processing treaty accounts are implemented at all times, liaising internally with all divisions when a problem or query arises regarding the processing of a technical treaty account

What you'll need to succeed

Your previous experience working as a Reinsurance Treaty Accounts Technician with in-depth knowledge of Treaty accounts will contribute to your success in this role. You will have experience in the production and preparation of various technical documents, Knowledge of computerised filing systems, monitoring, and a reasonable understanding of reinsurance structures and market insurance.
